Ravenspoint Road, Trearddur Bay, Holyhead, LL65 2YU,
Wales, United Kingdom
Big skies, sandy beaches, wheeling gulls, spectacular sunsets – that's what you find at the top of Anglesey. The Seacroft is wonderfully positioned 200 metres inland, its whitewashed walls sparkling in the summer sun. It's a very happy place, a pub to some (Tuesday night is quiz night) and a restaurant to others (beer-battered haddock, pizzas, steaks, Anglesey lamb, mussels from the Menai Strait). Outside is a vast decked terrace overlooking the lane; inside, New England interiors give an airy seaside feel. Conran lampshades hang above cool little dining booths, pints of Timothy Taylor wait at the American oak bar, dining tables circle a wood-burner that burns on both sides. Spin outside to explore the island and the wide sands of Trearddur Bay, the coastal path, the sailing school.
