Traditional harbour side pub specialising in seafood and homecooked classics with one of the best sea wall ‘bars’ in Wales. Great fun

Dale's last, very old pub – there were once 15 – sits defiantly close to the water and has seen out some stormy seas. The stone sea wall in front is known as 'the longest bar in Pembrokeshire' and what better place to be on a warm day with a pint of Tenby Harbwr's North Star or Tomos Watkin's Cwrw Haf, both from local breweries, as you watch the day's catch being unloaded from responsible day boats. Fresh fish, lobster and shellfish are hugely popular here and make the short distance from beach to Simon and Sian's home-cooked menus. Inside are red quarry tiles, painted stone, wood panelling and an open fire in the cosy, traditional bar. An additional restaurant and roof terrace have been added to make the most of the great views across the bay and up the Haven, kids love to play on the pontoon, and the coastal walks are superb.

Guest feedback
"We had a most excellent evening meal of farmhouse pâté, a wonderful cod main course in a delicious sauce followed by a good fruit crumble. We were a big party but the service was first class. We had the house wines which were more than adequate. Everybody agreed that the whole meal was a great success and a class act. We will be back and thank you Simon and Sian and your helpful staff. "
