Special Places to Stay - More than a bed for the night

"We stayed for two nights in Wallace's arts house in Leith. It was just as lovely an experience as we hoped it would be, restful, charming and comfortable. Mostly this is due to Wallace, what a charming and convivial host! he made us feel like friends, couldn't do enough for us, was sympathetic, empathic and delightful company! We would recommend his establishment to anyone capable of climbing a few flights of stairs. We loved it too, that we were a few miles walk away from Edinburgh, close enough to get there easily, but far enough away to feel that we were not in the hustle and bustle of a big city, and we had some lovely meals at restaurants that were round the corner, and delicious breakfasts prepared by Wallace! Fabulous!"

Wallace welcome and care for his guests are pleasant and attentive. Five minutes from the house you can have a splendid walk along the Water Leith up to the Dean Village. This place is far enough away from the city centre to be calm and relaxing, but near enough to walk if the weather is nice! And if not then there are some nice local shops and delicious local restaurants to keep you busy! Loads of attention to detail, comfy beds and a fun, interesting place to stay. Thanks Wallace!"
