- Visit the 'Land of the Thousand Lakes' (the Brenne) and enjoy the wonderful wild life and long peaceful walks, or if you have bikes, you have the opportunity to travel further.
- Enjoy the Festival of Music the last week of June, the Dance Festival in July and the many wonderful gardens that are in the region.
- During the summer months there are markets, village fetes; the annual Medieval Festival at Le Pechereau is on the 7th and 8th July.
- Relax by Lake Chambon, or enjoy a trip on a boat, enjoy the lake's scenery and the former Crozant fortress. For the more adventurous, hire a canoe and travel at your own pace.
- Museums and Châteaux are within easy reach. Visit the chateau of George Sand at Nohant, or the chateau where she enjoyed many summers in Gargilesse with Chopin. This chateau hosts Chopin concerts throughout the year.
