On top of Bath’s highest hill lies Rikki’s Bauhaus-inspired home, its glass walls making the most of a magical spot and a sensational view; on a clear day you can see the Welsh hills. In the vast open-plan living space – homely, inviting, inspiring – are treasures from a lifetime of travels: ancient Tuareg camel sacks, kitsch Art Deco pots, gorgeous Persian chests. Bedrooms in the house are airy, with doors onto a huge balcony; the snug, colourful studio room has a wood-burner and little kitchen. Rikki is an incredible chef and uses the finest ingredients from Bath’s farmers’ market, ten minutes away. Breakfasts are superb – good coffee too.

Absolutely fantastic stay at the The Power House! Beautiful views, comfortable beds, and a gorgeous dinner with our friends and host. We will absolutely stay again next time while visiting Bath.

Jan, Richmond

Rikki made us so welcome and accommodated our family in her fascinating house with individually themed bedrooms, for the week end of our daughter's wedding- magnificent breakfast saw us through until the reception. She went the extra mile to ensure we had a wonderful day, and had available gluten and dairy free options for one of our party. We loved the tranquil atmosphere of the Power House, with its far reaching views above Bath , but convenient for the city. We hope to return again. Thank you Rikki.

Aldyth, Truro

We had a great night at the Power House and were made to feel very welcome. The studio was cosy especially with a wood burner, the bed very comfortable. Rikki made a fantastic breakfast for us and we would definitely recommend it to our friends.

Bridget, Bristol

A perfect peaceful place to escape it all for a night, the Studio is cosy and has a lovely relaxed vibe. Rikki provided a 'DIY' breakfast which was lovely. We will certainly be back to do some walks and stay longer next time.

Jessy, Salisbury

Excellent hospitality, Rikki is very obliging and couldn't do enough for us. Lovely accommodation in the studio, (which we stayed in) Surrounding gardens and breakfast room. Truly is a doggy paradise. Fabulous views when the sun shone. Local pub is dog friendly as well, log fires and we had an excellent valentines dinner. Would love to visit again.

Donna, Nottingham

A delightful and spacious room in a beautiful hilltop setting surrounded by panoramic, heart-stopping views of Bath and beyond. Rikki is a wonderful hostess & cook--we ate lovely breakfasts and a delicious dinner at her table. The walks to a nearby sheep paddock and on into Bath were also beautiful.

Rikki made us very welcome and her breakfasts were home made and delicious! Our children still talk about them! The house is really unique and full of fascinating artifacts from the familys travels. We stayed in the studio in the garden and our 3 children aged 8-12 stayed in the house. It was a warm cosy house with a large garden, trampoline, lovely walks nearby in the woods and loads of space for the kids to run around. Bath is 15 mins drive away. Rikki was also a great source of inspiration for places to visit and things to see. We would really recommend it. The Clark Family
