The
Experience
Opposite Christ’s Pieces, one of the city’s oldest green spaces, and right in the centre: perfect! This house has been refurbished from top to toe and all is gleaming and generous. Settle into the guest sitting room (chandelier, Regency style furniture, calm colours) and sleep soundly under Irish goose down in beautiful bedrooms all named after dukes; top-floor’s Cambridge suite has a romantic balcony. The lovely breakfast room has separate tables with fabric-backed chairs overlooking a little plant-filled courtyard; Liz serves an excellent organic and homemade spread. Shops, botanical garden, restaurants… a happy stroll.

At last, somewhere in Cambridge to enjoy a relaxing, comfortable stay. Welcoming, friendly hosts. Beautifully furnished accommodation. No need to use the car (but book early to ensure onsite parking.) A hidden gem, right in the centre of everything.

Ideal, easy walking, city centre location with some car parking. Decor to an extremely high standard and spotlessly clean, lovely. Host was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic, thankyou.

Well situated, easy walking distance of everything important; friendly welcome including supply of elec. adaptors on request; tea and cake daily in room; very comfortable and tastefully furnished accommodation; superb breakfasts - even 5* hotels don't include rhubarb compote and fresh figs in their breakfast buffets! Full marks. Was a 3-day "business trip" not holiday
