- Strolling five minutes into Coverack village for supper on the quay
- Gazing at the unbroken sea views from every room in the cottage
You should know
- The family bathroom is off the kitchen downstairs, although there is a loo upstairs
- Watch out for low ceilings and old flagstones
This is the perfect coastal retreat if you want to avoid the car on holiday -
tiny Coverack with its pretty harbour, two beaches and lots of great places
to eat is a minute's walk down the hill. I loved the old flagstones, the
exposed granite walls, the lovely terrace for eating al fresco in summer and
the huge windows in the living room for storm watching in winter.

We stayed at Battery Cottage over the festive period and had a wonderful, restful stay. The cottage is cosy and in a beautiful spot overlooking the cove. Coverack is a lovely village; great pub and shop and on New Year’s Eve the villagers set off fireworks. It’s a great place to be…we’ll be back.
