Explore the farm, stroll through the beautiful valley, return for a massage at this charming, special, shabby-chic farmhouse - with yurts!

Read guest comments

The farmhouse at the end of the wild-flowered lane is an inspired synthesis of stone, wood, Shaker simplicity and comfy old chairs: the chicest of shabby chic. Rustic bedrooms reached by a steep stair have planked floors, antique beds and beautiful linen; the bathroom is just along the hallway. Breakfasts – organic, home-baked, home-picked, vegetarian – are enjoyed at a scrubbed table by the Rayburn. Drink in the pure air, explore the farm, walk the wooded valley; return to a therapeutic massage in the treatment room. Botelet has been in the family since 1860 and is quirky, friendly, artistic, huge fun. The yurts are amazing.

Guest feedback
"The Tamblyns are charming, welcoming, hospitable and made our stay very comfortable. They have restored the building with a sensitive eye, the house is eclectic but warm and cosy, with vintage furnitures and jugs of wild flowers. We appreciated vintage and design lighting and radios in every room, including bathroom! We loved breakfasts- a real feast - including home made jams and marmalades, seasonal fruits just picked up in the garden, artfully displayed, Cornish yogurt and a wonderful granola – a house recipe we have stolen. Botelet Farm is a real heaven of peace and quiet."
