Sue’s warm welcome and cream teas set the tone – you’ll feel relaxed and happy, even if you’ve been stuck on the way behind a tractor for a while. This is a chocolate box cottage in a proper Cornish village. The house is cosy too. Bedrooms have uneven white walls, quilts on beds, fresh flowers from the garden and distant sea views. After a peaceful night Sue lays on a great breakfast: tuck into homemade bread, muffins and preserves, local eggs and bacon, in the dining room, the conservatory, or out on the sunny patio.Stroll to join the coastal path in either direction, pick up a map to find the best secret coves. You can walk half a mile to a foodie pub in the village for dinner.

This cottage was a stroke of luck for us. Sue, the owner, very friendly and charming. Her hints and recommendations were very good and helpful. We started every day with a delicious breakfast. The cottage is like a cottage should be: small, neat and tidy. A real retreat.

Back from a wonderful stay in such a delightful B&B. Sue and Jim made us feel extremely welcome and we were so fortunate to find them. The location is great for exploring the area and Sue is more than willing to recommend places of interest including some great restaurants. Will visit again!

I'm so relaxed after my stay in this beautiful cottage - gorgeous homemade breakfasts, clean and indulgent bathroom and very comfortable bedroom. The hosts are very welcoming with lots of helpful information if needed and clearly very experienced. I'm going back next month!

Very welcoming guest house with lots of attention to detail. Home baking and homemade jam added to the pleasures. Lovely decor and a very friendly couple. Nothing was too much trouble

Wonderful place to stay. Owners really friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Sue is a great cook, delicious breakfast and evening meal. Brilliant location for getting to beaches, and also close to bus route, but also really peaceful. Would definitely go again.

The warm welcome we received, the comfort and attention to detail made Myrtle Cottage so much more than just a place to stay.
