Sue’s warm welcome and cream teas set the tone – you’ll feel relaxed and happy, even if you’ve been stuck on the way behind a tractor for a while. This is a chocolate box cottage in a proper Cornish village.
The house is cosy too. Bedrooms have uneven white walls, quilts on beds, fresh flowers from the garden and distant sea views. After a peaceful night Sue lays on a great breakfast: tuck into homemade bread, muffins and preserves, local eggs and bacon, in the dining room, the conservatory, or out on the sunny patio.
Stroll to join the coastal path in either direction, pick up a map to find the best secret coves. You can walk half a mile to a foodie pub in the village for dinner.
