The
Experience

A breadmaker for the kitchen, hand-made soaps for the bath, fresh eggs, home-grown vegetables and a cream tea on arrival. It’s the small things that make the difference at David and Elizabeth’s charming cottages.

They’re also a showcase for the soft furnishings business Elizabeth runs on the farm and there’s plenty of her handiwork on display. You’ll also find a freezer stocked with local pasties and pork.

From every window you’ll see the garden – 25 acres just waiting to be explored. Also horses to feed, eggs to collect, a wildlife pond to peer into and a Victorian summerhouse for afternoon tea or a glass of wine.

Modern pastel blue fully equipped kitchen with marble tops and an AGA

Introducing

David & Elizabeth Harris

David and Elizabeth Harris have lived here for almost 20 years and have transformed it from a dilapidated smallholding into a charming home and two guest cottages. They love sharing their passion for the area, local produce and country life with their guests. Elizabeth offers textile courses alongside her onsite soft furnishings business and they are both very environmentally conscious.
