What a perfect gem. Super location, wonderful grounds. Brilliant. Jenni and Stuart were perfect hosts so friendly and accommodating.

Ron & mary, Shillington

It must be time for an updated review for this marvellous place! Although Jeni and Stuart have been doing this for a while, they treated us as though we were their first guests, taking us in at 9pm on a Sunday evening after a bad experience at another b&b. Nothing was too much for them and they made us feel utterly pampered with delicious food and all the special little touches you'd only expect from a 5 star hotel. Extremely generous, kind and professional hosts - we were so impressed! The mill itself is gorgeous - warm, comfortable and peaceful.

Jo, Oxford

I'll definitely be telling my friends about this beautiful mill tucked a short distance from the Kingsbridge estuary - relaxed, stylish interiors and stunning gardens. A gorgeous country retreat after a day at the beach.

Catherine, Sawday's inspector

Another Sawday gem. The mill was gorgeous, breakfasts superb. Stuart and Jeni were extremely kind. Could not have been more helpful. The only thing missing----the sun !!!!!

Wonderful welcome by Stuart and Jeni Jebb whose heart and expertise in their extremely comfortable house were very evident. Wonderful welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We felt we were staying with friends and expect to ask to go again.

An absolutley beautiful place to stay. The owners, Stuart and Jenny, couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. Superb rooms, lovely breakfast, peaceful and quiet surroundings with gorgeous local pubs in close proximity all doing great food. Highly recommend a visit. Will definitely return.

The neighbourhood

Local points of interest from Stuart & Jennifer Jebb

  • We are situated beside a Devon lane just outside the village of Sherford and between the towns of Salcombe, Dartmouth, Kingsbridge and Totnes. Slapton Sands beach is 8 minutes drive and there are many lovely secluded beaches and coves to explore nearby.
  • South Devon is especially famous for its good food – there are many local cheesemakers, farm butchers, fresh fish suppliers and specialist food suppliers including farmers’ markets at Kingsbridge, Dartmouth and Totnes.
