Meadow Barn at Bottle Farm

A beautiful barn in a tucked away secluded location. It was so clean and well thought out, and the hosts could not have been nicer. High recommend.

Our third visit to Bottle Farm. We love the location and the stunning views across the fields, you really do feel a long way from urban life. The accommodation is great and very tasteful presented. You will be welcomed by a vase of flowers from the garden, eggs and homemade bread.

We had a fantastic stay in Meadow Barn. We loved everything about The Meadow Barn and really appreciated what Alice & Hugo have done to the place making so special. For the first time, we didn’t need TV. We just sat there marvelling the views and listening to the birds for hours! The Meadow Barn has become our favourite place to stay.

Beautiful setting. Lovely accommodation. Great sausages, charcuterie, ice cream and beer. Wonderful brewery a short walk away. Highly recommended!

Delightful bijou barn conversion in a beautiful rural setting with stunning far reaching views. The bathroom is large with a roll top bath as well as an excellent separate shower. The living area is as per the photos ie it is a bedsitting room, the bed was comfortable and the kitchen area was well equipped. There were lovely touches such as a starter pack of milk, bread and eggs and delightful vases of fresh flowers. highly recommended.

A lovely bolt hole very well located for visiting the Jurassic Coast. We were unlucky with the weather so could not enjoy what would have been stunning views from the barn nor the local walks on offer but we would return.

We booked Bottle Farm as we needed to be away from home due to a kitchen refit. We wanted somewhere not too far from home, but comfortable and self catering. We thought both the barns looked lovely and took a while to decide which to book. We had a lovely, comfortable and relaxing stay. The barn had everything you could think of and that we needed for our short stay, so quiet and peaceful and in a lovely part of the country!

Delightful barn tucked away , very peaceful and beautiful views whatever the weather. The bathroom is luxurious and we really appreciated the underfloor heating. Accommodation is very comfortable, well designed and furnished. Everything needed was provided and easy to use. We loved the floral arrangements, rustic bread, bottled milk, eggs and handmade mince pies . We chose to purchase their own sausages and bacon - delicious and highly recommend. For us this visit was a great base for visiting family and friends however lots to explore and close to the coast so definitely plan to return.

Warm, comfortable and peaceful with the most amazing view ( especially in the morning with the mist sitting in the valley) . Well placed for lots of beautiful walks, exploring and the local pork chops were delicious.

This is a lovely place to stay, beautifully designed and with welcoming touches like fresh garden flowers and delicious bread and other basics. Although there is another, equally good looking barn nearby, both properties have private sitting out areas and the views are wonderful. We would love to stay again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the property.

We had a lovely stay in meadow barn for 2 nights .just wished we could of stayed for longer. The barn was beautifully done with all the requirements for a very relaxing stay . A lovely outside area to watch the sun rise . Would thoroughly recommend the sausages and bacon that we bought of Alice and Hugo.

Beautiful rural setting, delightful barns with all you needs to escape and relax for a few days. The barns were spacious, clean and cosy and we had a lovely break away. The handmade loaf of bread was delicious too!

We have just returned to London from the most idyllic holiday. Meadow barn is reached from a narrow, winding lane. On arrival we were greeted by hydrangeas and sweet peas decorating the room, and a gift of eggs and yummy bread. The barn itself was a perfect location, very quite, with a pretty private garden, only over-looked by cows. It was in a great position for us to travel from, to access countryside and beaches around. We hope to return... many thanks Alice.

A great stay at Meadow Barn, views were amazing so good to just open the curtains in the morning to admire the view from the bed with a cup of tea/coffee. Ideal location for exploring the local area, would especially recommend Forde Abbey and the Cottley Inn.

We loved staying in the barn. We really appreciated how beautifully it had be done, as well as all the welcome touches like the bread and flowers. You live in such a beautiful place and I hope that we are able to return. My only regret was that as we weren’t travelling straight home we couldn’t take some of your delicious sausages with us!

We both really enjoyed our stay at Bottle Farm and wish we could have stayed for longer, but will hope to visit again before too long. Everything was simply brilliant. We appreciated the extra thoughtful touches and really liked how you're using homemade and promoting locally sourced products. The sausages were delicious and the cullatello was excellent.

Our stay was perfect in every way. The barn is charming and stylish and has everything you need. Alice was very welcoming and the hamper was a lovely touch. Gorgeous bread. It is very private and a really romantic place. The views are beautiful and having cows wander by added to the charm. The walks are fabulous. It had a super comfy bed which is always important. I also think it would be really cosy in the winter months. We will definitely go again.

Foodies, nature-lovers, walkers, beachcombers and fossil hunters will be delighted. It's a relaxed and comfortable place to stay and from here you can explore this most beautiful part of Devon, right on the Dorset border.
