Crisp, clean and uncluttered, it’s a soothing place to kick your shoes off and relax.Walk to a little shop for croissants in the morning, on dry days you can breakfast in the pretty garden. Walk to spectacular Morte Point, explore the rock pools at Rockham Beach and dine on fresh seafood in Mortehoe’s pubs.This is an all-weather coastal bolthole. Walk straight onto the coastal path or down to the beach, return to a cream tea by the cosy wood-burner. Watch the stars come out from the garden on balmy nights in summer.
Old Post Cottage is a lovely home from home, in the tiny village of Mortehoe. The cottage has two separate bathrooms with showers and toilets, modern kitchen and own garden. A welcome pack of biccies and milk in the fridge was greatly appreciated. The cottage is a great base for exploring the beautiful countryside, everything is close by, a bus stop is handily placed for sightseeing trips.Great for us as we don't have a car and could plan days out. Lundy Isle is magical. Wonderful walks, on your doorstep, Morte Point, and hidden gem Rockham Beach. Old Post Cottage is the perfect place to stay
