The
Experience
Down windy lanes with tall grassy banks and the smell of the sea is a lovely Georgian country house with two walled gardens and barns at the back. You’ll fall for this place the moment you arrive, and its owners: Jo runs an interiors business; Mike keeps the cattle and sheep that graze all around. Bedrooms are inviting; the double, overlooking the valley, has a cream French bed, a pretty quilted cover, a claw-foot bath and a little sitting room (adjoining) with TV. There’s an elegant drawing room with a real fire too. Delicious breakfasts with home-laid eggs and homemade jams are brought to a snug room that catches the morning sun.

A beautiful bed and breakfast with very attentive and friendly hosts. We were made to feel extremely welcome, our room was stunning, with a private sitting room to relax in with beautiful views and tea and coffee and biscuits for our personal use. A wonderful light and spacious bedroom which was extremely comfortable and an amazing en suite bathroom with luxury toiletries to use. The breakfast was better than anything we have experienced in luxury hotels and nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend couples to stay here and would make a perfect romantic weekend break.
