Neat-as-a-pin bedrooms have their own entrance through a thatched porch: the garden room downstairs is light and sunny with doors to a south west facing private gravelled courtyard. The Blue Room upstairs is equally pretty and both have en suite wet rooms with Linden soaps and gels, a table for breakfast if you choose, a mini fridge and wine glasses.
Breakfast can be had in your room or down in the lovely big kitchen with its bi-folding doors to the garden. Louisa makes homemade jams, marmalade, compotes with fruit from the garden and homemade granola and yogurt pots. Cooked options include eggs from the next village, bacon and sausages from the local butcher, bread from the bakery and honey from Broadmayne.
The village has a pretty church, St Martin’s, to explore, and there are circular walks or cycles from the village into beautiful countryside. You’ll find lots of information in your bedroom or just ask Louisa.
