A sylvan setting, stylish pottery, talented hosts and lively young family. The cobalt blues and rich browns of David’s ceramics fill the old stables of a Victorian manor house. Take pottery courses (one day to a long weekend) and be inspired by the warm décor. A narrow staircase spirals up to a modern loft: crisp whites, cathedral ceiling with sunny windows, brilliant shower. The ground-floor garden suite has a patio (with a gorgeous Showman’s wagon!), sitting room, painted bed and optional children’s beds. Lucy brings a continental breakfast hamper to your room. Stroll to the beach: you can almost touch the Isle of Wight.

The Garden Room is the holy grail for families with its separate sitting room and bedroom! We really enjoyed the homely, artistic suroundings for our 2 night stay and will definitely be back!

We went on one of Davids pottery courses and stayed in The Hayloft. It was delightful. In fact the second time we've been there. Big bedroom, big ensuite, well furnished, splendid full English breakfast, kind and attentive hosts. Its highly recommended and frankly a bit of a bargain. I am sure you wont regret it!
