Monnow River Cottage

Wow! What a find Monnow River Cottage is. Such a wonderful place to stay and located in the most beautiful setting, with stunning gardens and the river walk right from the door….perfect. Tivy and Steve are the warmest and most helpful hosts you could wish for and just make the whole experience a truly memorable one. There are plenty of lovely recommended places to eat out, but it is also lovely to buy local produce, light the log burner and enjoy a night in! Thank you Tivy and Steve, our stay at Monnow River Cottage made my 60th birthday was a very special one. We will definitely return!

It's such a wonderful cottage and location that sits within beautiful gardens and surrounding countryside. Tivy and Steve were really helpful with suggestions of restaurants, walks, etc. We had an extremely relaxing and enjoyable week.

Superb accommodation! Monnow River Cottage is simply perfect! Spacious, comfortable accommodation, spotlessly clean and beautiful fresh flowers throughout. Everything you need and more is provided by Tivy and Steve, such a very friendly and welcoming couple. We couldn’t have asked for more! The scenery is stunning, with a vast choice of walks from your doorstep and if you are not that way inclined you can wander or just relax in the most beautiful grounds, with the Monnow River flowing by. Thank you Tivy and Steve - we will certainly return!
