The Experience

Along the winding track to a careful transformation of an ancient barn. Tall windows pull in the light, a sunny terrace runs the length of the house, and there are stunning pastoral views. Gather friends or family and take over the whole place or simply book in for B&B as one couple or more – the lovely restaurant, Frasers, is a short walk away or breakfast can be delivered.

Bedrooms have private entrances and patios, and the huge living space plus kitchen pod is open to all. Cosy up in front of the cinema-like screen. Prepare a feast in the kitchen known as ‘the pod’, walk down to the restaurant or a chef can come to you. There are beauty treatments on offer too. In short, prepare to be thoroughly spoiled.

Wander the estate, explore Tenterden with its pretty high street. Out-of-season Rye, a 45-minute drive, is another delight, as is the World Heritage City of Canterbury.

Reviews

A thoroughly modern building in a perfect rural setting. This really offers the best of both worlds - comfort, design and great views. There is the well-known Frasers restaurant next door if you don't want to cook, or you can chill out in the barn and cook in the amazing kitchen - and dine at a long 22-seater table with your friends. Bedrooms are state-of-the-art too!
