The Experience

An attractive stone farmhouse surrounded by fields. Jane and Peter’s house is a working sheep farm, and you arrive to a welcoming cup from a silver teapot and delicious cake by the fire. If you’re peckish later too, there are homemade flapjacks in pretty, very comfortable bedrooms. In the morning, the sideboard holds an impressive spread: homemade marmalade, fruit salad, compote, cereals – and a tasty cooked breakfast to follow. Have a day sightseeing in Lincoln – the Cathedral is magnificent and the castle has a copy of the Magna Carta; explore the Lincolnshire Wolds and coast; head off early for some exciting racing at Blyton Park.

Just a one night stay, but delightful nevertheless. Extremely comfortable rooms and bathrooms. Jane is a great host, making sure that her guests' needs are met, from offering a fire in the drawing room to fresh milk in the room - always a sign of a good place to stay. The breakfast was superb served in the lovely dining room.

A super B and B. Jane was the perfect hostess even changing an appointment to accommodate our later breakfast. The room was beautiful and the breakfast delicious. 5 stars

Most friendly and Bautifull stay we had so far

Luc, Ruiselede

Jane is the most wonderful host. We were made to feel so welcome, with home made scones and biscuits on our arrival.. The house is just beautiful, like stepping into a Jane Austen novel. Our room was gorgeous, so comfortable, we had a great nights sleep and a delicious breakfast the next day. Fantastic value for money. The best B&B we have ever stayed in.

Lara, London

The whole experience of staying at Grayingham Lodge was wonderful. Jane greeted us with smiles and tea and delicious home made scones. Our room was tastefully decorated with thoughtful extras like the small fridge with fresh milk and water provided, tea and coffee making facilities and magazines. Our cooked breakfast was hearty and beautifully cooked and presented. In fact we could not fault anything and would highly recommend a stay at Grayingham Lodge.
