At the end of a neatly raked gravel drive, a new manor house with wide views and stunning sunsets over the peaceful Trent valley. The Days have farmed in the village since 1898 and look after you with rich warm comfort and friendly ease. You have your own entrance hall leading to a bedroom with opulent curtains, period furniture, comfy sofa and rural art. There’s a sunny patio outside your annexe, and the beautiful gardens are awash with roses, ducks on the pond, horses in the paddock. Shooting can be arranged and you can fish for carp in the lake, or play golf nearby; there are music and art festivals, antique fairs and walks in abundance too.
