The Experience

The area is one of London’s finest and Sunny’s family home is a four-minute walk from Holland Park Avenue with interesting cafés, pubs and shops. It’s a fuss free and easy place to stay right in the heart of things.

Holland Park is one of the loveliest parks in London with formal gardens, woods and wildlife – the Kyoto garden is serene and beautiful. Browse happily in Daunt books then treat yourself to supper in Marco Pierre White’s Belvedere restaurant.

Hop on the tube for Kensington High Street, Notting Hill, Portobello Market and Knightsbridge. Relax, unwind, feel free to come and go but do ask Sunny for tips – she’s lived here for more than 40 years.

Sunny Murray is an excellent host. I highly recommend this accommodation. The room is decorated with detail, the bed is extremely cosy, wonderful cushions and bedsheets. Close to public transport, in a lovely area and all you need when looking for a good place to stay while in London.

What a wonderful place just opposite Holland Park! Sunny, the owner, is simply the best: She spoils her guests with a delicous breakfast, withmany great insider-tipps, she has lovely bedrooms (with an electric blanket), a nice bathroom in her gorgeous house. My friend and I REALLY enjoyed our one week in London ever so much thanks to Sunny. We will certainly recommend her und we will definately come back!

Sunny is a great host and keeps a beautiful house with great comfort and hospitality. Perfectly clean. We spent four days at Abbotsbury Rd, great location, close to the Tube and facing Holland Park. Lovely area and with restaurants and cafés close by. We were very happy and comfortable there.

I loved my stay at Sunny’s home which is centrally located a short 5 minutes walk away from Holland Park underground and 15 minutes from Kensington Olympia. My light and bright room on the top floor, overlooking a gorgeous garden, with a magnolia tree in bloom, was really comfortable, quiet and cosy. Sunny is a wonderfully hospitable and gracious host and was incredibly accommodating of my special check-in and check-out times. (Thank you Sunny!)

What a stunning house with a seriously stylish owner. Sunny was an absolute delight to meet and made me very welcome. I was in London at an exhibition at Olympia so the location was perfect.I stayed in a lovely single room on the top floor, very quiet and there was a kettle to make a cup of tea!! Thanks so much Sunny,I will be calling you next time I am working in London to stay again Show less Room Tip: I was alone so the room on the Top Floor was perfect with stunning views of a super sweet ,well kept... Stayed: July 2017, travelled on business

Opposite the beautiful Holland Park, near the tube, walking distance to High Street Kensington, Portobello Road, - having a fabulous and large single room, (with a garden view,) a gracious, friendly and informative host, delicious breakfast, immaculate yet cosy home, ...all situated in a select, charming part of London, -what more does a traveller ask for? I would highly recommend Sunny's home at 101 Abbotsbury Road, Holland Park

Sandie, Melbourne

I had a delightful 4 night stay here in September. Sunny was a welcoming hostess, I felt very comfortable in her beautiful home. My room was attractively decorated, with a pretty garden view, the breakfasts substantial and the position is fantastic; opposite the magnificent Holland Park and minutes from the tube station. What more could you ask for? I am already looking forward to my next visit.

Suzanne, Melbourne

Sunny's place was perfect for our trip. Great location across from beautiful Holland Park. Sunny was very gracious, her home is lovely, and we felt well cared for.

Blissful to stay here, beautiful house in very calm yet convenient location.

Charming house and owner. We stayed for a week and for the most part, had the top floor to ourselves. Beautifully decorated rooms. Our bed was so comfortable, with quality white cotton sheets, lace pillowcases and a fluffy goose down duvet. So many nice little touches like a magnified mirror on the dressing table, a hair dryer, curling iron and even an overseas plug adapter! Our host, Sunny, was away for most of our stay, but the table was laid out with cereals and home made marmalade and the fridge was stocked with lots of other breakfast goodies. Extremely convenient location.

Couldn't be better ! Spent 3 nights at this B&B and enjoyed our stay very much. Sunny is very welcoming. The room is lovely, very nicely decorated and the bed is so comfortable with high quality linen ! Perfect location : just a few minutes from Holland Park tube station from which we could easily go anywhere in London and which was convenient for getting the Stansted train at Liverpool Street Station. Very close to Nottinghill (only 20 minutes walk). The house is located in a very nice and peaceful area and it's great to walk through Holland Park and meet the squirrels. Can't wait to be back!
