The Experience
You’re cared for here by super-friendly staff; it’s smart but not stuffy and the location is great. A short walk takes you to gawp at the world’s most expensive brands – Chanel, Tiffany’s, Prada and Hermes – and even if you can’t afford to buy anything you can always faire du leche-vitrines as the French say.
Walk to view the pretty pastel-hued houses of Chelsea, visit the swinging King’s Road, explore the Chelsea Physic Garden or the Saatchi Gallery. The brilliant Victoria and Albert museum is just over half a mile away as is The Natural History museum.
Afternoon tea is a fancy affair but you can move swiftly on to chocolate cocktails inspired by Sir Hans Sloane, one of the first importers of cocoa from Jamaica. If you prefer to eat in, then the Hans Bar and Grill serves fresh modern British food conjured up by chef Stefanos Kariofyllis.

Location
The neighbourhood
The hotel sits on the corner of Cadogan Gardens and Pavilion Street. Walk out to a mix of independent shops (cheese, wine and a deli) or to the big-name brands. You're near to Harrods and Harvey Nicks, museums, galleries and good street cafes for a people watch - those who don't live in London are usually transfixed. Just a word of warning - it's posh around here. Hop on a bus if you want to go further than you can walk - it's more fun than the tube.

- Tucked away beside the Thames, Chelsea Physic Garden is the oldest botanic garden in London and houses around 5,000 different medicinal, herbal, edible, and useful plants. Explore the many special events, tours and children's activities it has offer.
- Royal Hospital Chelsea is home to almost 300 veterans. Guided tours by a resident, in their striking scarlet uniform, allows you to hear the captivating stories - past and present – and learn what life is like for today’s veterans at the Royal Hospital.

A lovely hotel in a quiet location, just off Sloane Square. Friendly and professional staff. Our bathroom was small, otherwise the bedroom was excellent.
