The
Experience

Caroline’s generosity of spirit makes the house feel like home and she’s steeped in her community so can tell you about all the best haunts. There’s a fuss-free feel: lovely things to look at, spotless spaces filled with light. Your bedroom, up in the eaves, has rooftop views and a neat little bathroom next door.

Plan your days in the chintzy living room, doors flung open onto the secret rooftop patio filled with potted tubs and trellises where you can perch on the bench and drink a glass of something chilled among the chimneys. You’ll breakfast on fruit and croissants in the informal kitchen.

Central London is close: explore South Ken’s museums, shop on the King’s Road or pop in to an exhibition. Boris bikes can be found two streets away, buses are frequent and there’s much to see and do. It’s quiet back here though and there’s a very good pizzeria on the corner.

Reviews

My husband and I stayed with Caroline for two nights prior to a holiday in France. What a lovely warm welcome we had! Caroline has a charming home and we were made to feel so comfortable to come and go as we pleased. The bedroom with its own sitting room and outside terrace was superb and we wished we were staying longer to really appreciate it! Caroline was so happy to help with directions and information regarding transport, a tremendous help when only staying for a few days and not too sure of the area. Would highly recommend this lovely B & B to anyone visiting London.

Sue and jim, Stockport

Delightful B&B in a great location, just minutes from Munster Road in South West London, also close to bus & tube stops. The owner is lovely and the rooms are great (there is 1 double and 1 single). Comfortable beds, great bathroom and delicious breakfasts. We will definitely return - thank you!

Rachel, Norwich

Best experience we've ever had in a B&B! Lovely room with en-suite bathroom/shower with its own sitting room and roof terrace in a gorgeous house, excellent all round. Delicious breakfast every morning and charming Caroline who can suggest the best things to do in London and how to get to them.

Lavinia, New york

Bronsart Road is a delightful tranquil haven in London. A real home from home. The double bedroom with its own sitting room and terrace is charming, very very comfortable & beautifully decorated. Everything is thought about to make your stay as perfect as possible. Breakfast is delicious in the big open airy kitchen looking out on a wonderful terraced garden. Nothing is too much trouble & there was wonderful suggestions on the best new exhibitions etc openings in London. It was a joy to stay in such a special place.

Corinne, Paris

A very warm welcome from a kind and generous host! The accommodation was first class - the best B&B we have ever stayed in. The bedroom is beautifully furnished and equipped. And what a pleasure it is to have one's own sitting room and roof terrace. Breakfast was extremely enjoyable and nothing was too much trouble. Caroline was so helpful about what to see and do in London and generous of spirit. Patricia, Cornwall, United Kingdom

Introducing

Caroline Docker

Caroline’s been with Sawday’s since we published our first bed and breakfast book. She’s an easy-going and warm hostess and loves to welcome you into her home. Do ask her about the best places to eat and what’s on in the galleries. She’s an interior designer and learned the ropes from John Fowler of Colefax & Fowler.
