The Experience

Eudora has made sure her guests have everything they need to feel at home, from cooking essentials in the kitchen and a cosy gas fire in the living room, to Neal’s Yard products and plenty of towels in the bathroom – ask her about having breakfast delivered before your stay.

Eckhardt the friendly cat comes and goes. On sunny days, throw open the bi-fold conservatory door onto the wonderful woodland garden and have a barbecue, or if the weather’s bad you can pull down the projector screen and watch movies while raindrops patter on the roof above. You’re welcome to use the little office set in a cabin at the end of the garden, and Eudora’s planning a Nordic-style sauna to go behind it.

Explore London from Highgate station, a seven-minute walk away. Highgate Woods are less than five minutes’ walk, Hampstead Heath 15 minutes and the ever-bustling Camden Market is 20 minutes away.

Reviews

This place is truly wonderful, with a home-from-home feeling and an atmosphere of warmth and privacy. After a deep night's sleep, walk up the hill to Highgate Village for independent cafes and shops or pop into Kenwood manor or the famous cemetery. Jump on the tube (only a 10 minute walk from your door) for the likes of Camden Market or Primrose Hill.

Local points of interest from Eudora Pascall

  • Highgate Village always has something interesting going on from markets to concerts. There are plenty of cafes and lovely little boutiques. Very close to Hampstead Heath
  • Hampstead Heath is stunningly beautiful all year round. It’s so large that you’ll always discover new places to explore. The ponds are a great place for wild swimming.
  • Kenwood House has sumptuous grounds and you can come inside and discover how the family used to live. There’s a delicious cafe and garden centre. And of course there are often concerts and interesting events going on.
  • Muswell Hill and Crouch End both feel like villages with a strong community. Walking distance with a great selection of shops and restaurants. There both have their own independent cinema.
