Cartshed Cottages at Sharrington Hall

Wonderfully relaxing stay in Samphire Cottage at Sharrington Hall. The cottages are in a beautiful setting and simply, but very stylishly, furnished with all you could need. We were pleased the weather turned just enough to use the wood burning stove. Katie and Steve are incredibly welcoming and keen to make sure you have a great stay, providing really good local information and the location is perfect - close to Holkham, Holt, Burnham Market etc but also beautifully secluded. We'll definitely be coming back - we loved it!

Seal cottage is chic, comfortable and calm and perfect for couples. Beautiful interiors are serene and truly reflect Norfolk wildlife and scenery. A large comfortable bed, roll top bath, drench shower, high ceilings and double aspect windows make the upstairs a haven for long baths and equally long lie ins. We haven't relaxed so well for a long time. A perfect bolthole to escape everyday life and to explore the natural and foodie delights of north Norfolk. Steve and Katie were friendly and helpful from hello to goodbye and Cartshed Cottages deserves to be a huge success for them. Go now!

We stayed in the Shell cottage this weekend and cannot give it (and the whole experience of staying at Cartshed cottages) enough praise. The cottage was immaculate, stylish and homely. There were lots of personal touches including fire wood, wine on arrival and a hairdryer, which were all really appreciated. The location was absolutely perfect for exploring the area. It was a complete oasis. The owners of the cottages made the whole experience easy from beginning to end seamless and easy. We can't wait to go back!!

We have visited the North Norfolk coast numerous times, but Christmas 2013 in Seal Cottage at Sharrington Hall was the perfect holiday - the location, the hospitality, the furnishings and decoration, the comfort. A well equipped kitchen, a big fireplace with wood stove, a comfy informal four posted bed, an in-bedroom bath, a separate shower room all add up to the ideal 'home away from home! Upon our arrival for the Christmas break, we turned on the light, to be greeted by a beautiful 'minimal' tree along with a pannatone and a bottle of prosecco. Thank you! We'll be back ….
