Bed & Breakfast

An ironstone cottage in a conservation village, where beams and wonky lines abound, and a delightful garden. A sweet slice of old England

Rooms sleep 2

Weighed down by wisteria, this 16th-century cottage rests in a honey-hued conservation village on the cusp of Oxfordshire. Beams and wonky lines abound; rooms are filled with good antiques and eclectic art. The twin overlooking the garden is enchanting, tucked under the rafters, its beds decorated in willow-pattern chintz, its walls glinting with gilded frames; the double has a Georgian four-poster and a sampler-decorated bathroom that’s a quick flit next door. Warm and charming, Imogen not only works in publishing but is a contented gardener and Cordon Bleu cook – enjoy supper in her sunny secluded garden.

Adorable B and B in such a charming peaceful area, very comfortable and cosy room followed by a delicious breakfast! Every thing you need for a short stay away and nice to meet Thistle the little dog! Lots of character, 10 out of 10!

Sophia, Preston

We really enjoyed our brief stay at The Vyne. Imogen was most welcoming, the accommodation was clean and comfortable and the breakfast excellent. When it proved not possible for us to have dinner in, Imogen very kindly booked us a table at a near-by and excellent pub. An excellent visit!

Such a warm welcome from Imogen and Thistle the Scottie, we felt immediately relaxed. A beautiful unspoilt area to stay in and discover. Very comfortable room in a tastefully decorated, charming home with great food and chat from the host - we would definitely recommend!

We stayed on Saturday evening after attending a family wedding in Crockwell Farm. Imogen, who runs the B&B, was very hospitable and served a delcious full English breakfast in the morning. We slept in the twin room which had two very comfy single beds with our own bathroom facilities just outside. This 15th century village house was well looked after and was a pleasure to stay in with a warm homely feel. If we are ever in Northamptonshire again we would most definitely try and book a room here.It was lovely to have cuddles from Thistle, Imogen's Scottie dog too!

Stayed at Imogen's B&B on saturday night for the British Grand Prix weekend, what a find! A bit hesitant to give a glowing report as other people might book it for next years race! It was one of the nicest and friendliest places I have ever stayed in, and for a traditional Motor Sport fan, the conversation on Sunday morning over a super breakfast (didnt need to eat more on Sunday!) about motor racing greats was excellent! Thank you Imogen! And hope Thistle enjoyed her play! Will certainly book again next year!

A lovely warm welcome from Imogen and her scottie Thistle. Our 4 night stay surrounded by Imogen's original and refined decoration was a real delight.Breakfast was perfect and a great boost for the day.Imogen is a mine of local knowledge, what a pleasure!Highly recommendable

Ce B&B est adorable et Imogen a beaucoup de gout pour la décoration.Le dejeuner est delicieux un tres bon endroit

The Vyne at Eydon is a wonderful place to stay. Imogen is a wonderful host, the B&B is lovely and in a lovely part of the UK. Perfect for visiting Silverstone and a decent pub just a short walk away. The two rooms are very comfortable and the powerful showers certainly wake you up in the morning! Breakfasts are superb and set you up nicely for the day ahead. Highly recommended!

A delightful house, full of beautiful things. Comfortable, welcoming and very satisfactory. The breakfast was among the most delicious I have ever eaten! Warmly recommended.
