A solidly good farmhouse B&B whose lifeblood is still farming. The Jacksons know every inch of the surrounding countryside and coast; it’s a pretty spot. They farm the 400 acres of mixed arable land that sweeps down to the sea yet always have time for guests. Dorothy creates an easy and sociable atmosphere with welcoming pots of tea and convivial breakfasts – all delicious and locally sourced. Comfortable, smartly done bedrooms have a traditional feel, bathrooms have underfloor heating, the huge conservatory is filled with sofas and chairs and there’s an elegant guest sitting room with an open fire and views to the sea.
