The School House, Kidlandlee

Wow what a spot you have here! Thank you Team Kidlandlee for making this such a special break. The school house is just wonderful, everything we could possibly need and more. A real home from home - you have got this just right. This is our second visit to Kidlandlee and we will definitely be back soon. It has been the perfect place to relax and recharge the batteries. Thank you, for the most wonderful stay this Christmas.

Once again a splendid stay at Kidlandlee. This time we stayed in the School House. Everything was spotlessly clean and beautifully appointed. You cannot better the views from here and there are fabulous walks straight from the door. We were also lucky to witness the Northern Lights whilst here which made our stay extra special and is thanks to the dark skies status of the area.

We enjoyed every minute at the School House. There was nothing they hadn’t thought of. . So generous with the all the luxurious added extras. The house was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. Amazing views.

What a marvellous place to spend a glorious week walking in the Cheviots. The Schoolhouse has everything that you need, and Kidlandlee is set in the most amazing location. From the amazing welcome pack and all those local goodies to the comfort and luxury provided for our walking holiday. It was all there. And the silence, peace and tranquility.

Another wonderful stay in this stunning location. Lovely walks combined with the tranquility of the surrounding area. Having tried five cottages they are all equally equipped to the highest standard and kept scrupulously clean by a very diligent team. The beds are very comfortable and make it feel like a home from home. We definitely look forward to our next visit!

As always we have had a fantastic week at Kidlandlee. We stayed in the school house this time and enjoyed every minute.... Kidlandlee is such a peaceful place to relax and unwind and have a great nights sleep made possible by the tranquil surroundings and comfy beds. Every cottage is furnished, equipped decorated and maintained to a high standard. As we always say this will not be our last visit, we have found a little piece of paradise and hope to return soon.

Surely the most remote spot in England and unique simply for that. But there's something else here - as if the ancient hills were just dying to tell you their tales of Roman soldiers, marauding Reivers, monks and pilgrims, Victorian school children and everything else they've witnessed for so many thousands of years. It's a very special place.
