The
Experience

Peter and Caroline, London escapees keen on the fine detail, have turned this handsome listed house into an immaculate home. All is beamed and inviting with warm colours, smart furniture, limestone floors, white linen on the refectory table; carbon-neutral too. Bedrooms are in a separate wing and named after local villages; find a headboard clad in tweed, Welsh rugs, plump pillows on comfy beds. Peter cooks you a generous classic breakfast along with compotes, yogurt, smoked salmon, pancakes with fruit. The Cotswolds is foodie heaven; there are literary and music festivals to attend, National Trust gems to visit. It’s a treat to stay.

Reviews

Beautiful house lovingly restored in a quaint village, convenient to all main Cotswolds highlights. Beautiful rooms with modern and stylish en-suite, Peter is a great host that can throw together a great cooked breakfast, absolutely recommended.

Alessandra, Turin

A wonderfully comfortable place to stay in the Cotswolds 'golden triangle' . We chose one of the larger rooms, the Sarsden, which had a huge bed with comfortable mattress, a luxurious bathroom with REN toiletries and everything you could need, including huge home baked cookies! We had a very warm welcome from the owner, and he cooked excellent breakfasts! Warmly recommended. We intend to return soon!
