The
Experience

This big country house has a wonderfully settled, tranquil feel – the family have farmed here for three generations. Find large, light bedrooms, floral and pretty, with bold chintz bed covers, draped dressing tables, thick mattresses and tea trays with delicious chocolate shortbread; all have garden views. Sink into comfortable sofas flanking a huge fireplace in the drawing room, breakfast on local bacon and sausage with free-range eggs, stroll the lovely garden, or grab a rod and try your luck on one of the trout lakes. Elizabeth knows her patch well, walkers can borrow maps and lively market town Chipping Norton is close.

Reviews

Two couples had three wonderful nights at Rectory Farm. Our hosts were welcoming and extremely helpful. Highly recommended.

Benedict

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rectory Farm House, very comfy beds, in a lovely double view bedroom, looking out on fields and countryside, really excellent breakfasts and our hostess was delightful. Very good value for money.

Caroline, Petworth
