The
Experience

Beautifully tucked under the Breidden Hills, farm and Georgian farmhouse have been in the Dawson family for four generations. Views stretch all the way to the Severn; the simple garden does not try to compete. Spotless bedrooms have flowers, and pretty china for morning tea; there’s a half-tester with rope-twist columns, a twin with Victorian wrought-iron bedsteads, a double with a brass bed, a big bathroom with a roll top bath. Liz serves you farm eggs and homemade preserves at breakfast, and there’s a food pub just down the road. Sheep and cattle outdoors, a lovely black lab in, and wildlife walks from the door. Good value.

Reviews

We stayed here on the way to (28 August)and way back (31 August) from Pembrokeshire. The house and location are beautiful and we had a lovely room with a huge ensuite bathroom with an old roll top bath. Our welcome form Liz was friendly and the cup of tea and cake was very welcome after a long hot drive. Liz was very helpful in booking us a place for an evening meal in a local pub. Liz's breakfasts were gorgeous and plentiful. We would definitely return if we were in the area again. Heartily recommended.

Julia

Well worth the AA 4* rating. Warm welcome; and the house, rooms and everything just perfect. A really relaxing stay in a beautiful setting. Thanks Liz.
