After days out to nearby gardens or Snowdonia, unwind in a pretty farmhouse with breakfast by the Aga. Great dinners and indoor tennis too!

Off a winding country lane, surrounded by 40 acres of grassland, find a pretty white listed farmhouse and a wonderful welcome from Daisy, her family and two dear dogs. Step into the hallway with its bright garden flowers and you know you’ve made the right choice: this is a house to unwind in. Days out beckon at nearby gardens Bodnant, Erddig and Wollerton fuelled by local sausages and eggs or simply toast and Tim’s preserves. Return to deeply comfortable bedrooms – the traditional double with its country view or the large twin. Bring your rackets and let off steam on the indoor court; Daisy rustles up good dinners too.

"Trybroughton Hall is in a beautiful setting surrounded by quiet countryside. Daisy was extremely welcoming and very happy to cater for my gluten free diet. I used the lounge for a coaching session the following day and it was perfect. In fact the lounge was big enough to run a training session! I'd happily go back to stay for longer and explore the lovely places within easy travelling distance."

"We much enjoyed our stay with Daisy - a real home from home, she's very relaxed and easy to talk to and we felt very comfortable there - we definitely recommend her!"

"What a beautiful part of the UK this is - all new to me. Daisy - who is a delightful host - was so helpful looking up places for me and how to get there. My first visit was to the Gardens at Wollerton Old Hall which are stunning. David Austin Roses were next on my list but I was a bit too early - June July must be fantastic if you love roses! My room was really lovely with great views - one morning two hares were playing just below my window. Breakfasts are delicious and even at 6.00 am the day I had to leave. Definitely a ten!"

"Three generations of our family united at Tybroughton Hall to attend a wedding at nearby Iscoyd Park. The spacious house has a truly welcoming, comfortable and relaxed feel. Tybroughton Hall is set in pleasant, peaceful countryside, perfect for easy walking, and adjoins a farm. It also sports an indoor tennis court, which was great for the children to let off steam. From booking to departure Daisy could not have been a more helpful, kind and thoughtful host. Her marvelous breakfasts – set in an Aga-fired farmhouse kitchen – were a perfect and very social start to the day. "

"An extract from my holiday diary reads: "This is a lovely and most elegant B&B! Super comfy bed, a great night's sleep and, for a change from farmhouse, a scrumptious breakfast of scrambled eggs and smoked salmon with our hosts Daisy and Tim." We can add that nothing seemed too much trouble for Daisy. The advice we were given as to places to visit, especially Erdigg and Bodnant Gardens, were spot on. Likewise her dinner recommendations were perfect. A delightful 'top of the range' B&B in a beautiful part of the world. "

"Once you find this wonderful house deep in the countryside, all is brilliant! Clue- it's actually in Wales if your satnav can't locate it at first! Very comfortable and charming family house and Daisy looked after us brilliantly -every attention to detail and delicious bespoke breakfast. An excellent stopover en route to Scotland and we hope to return. "

"We stayed at this lovely b'n'b while we were guests at a local wedding. Daisy provided the most lovely welcome after a torrid journey from the South. Her breakfasts are delicious and great fun! Our room was exactly as portrayed in the photos on this website. Nothing seems to have been too much trouble and we would very much like to revisit if we are in the area again."

"A very happy stay. Tim and Daisy couldn't have been more welcoming - nothing was too much trouble including dressing my husband for a wedding and recording the Rugby for him to watch afterwards. Very comfortable. Would highly recommend."

"Ty Broughton’s five star rating is more than deserved. My visit started with a friendly welcome from Daisy, who quickly recognised my need for a complimentary glass of wine after a long and tiring journey. My room and bathroom were spacious and tastefully decorated. The view from the window was across open countryside with the Welsh mountains on the horizon. I had the exclusive use of a large drawing room with a log fire and the Times to read. I had accepted the offer of a three course meal, which was cooked and served to a very good restaurant standard. I could not wish for better."

"My husband & I and my mother-in-law, who has close ties to this part of the county - stayed with Mrs Woodhead for a long-weekend - on the day of an important family occasion in Whitchurch and Malpas - very close by! Not only was Daisy very kind and helpful in understanding our requirement's but she was an excellent host - attending to our every need! Set in beautiful light and outstanding countryside the accommodation is very well-appointed and maintained by The Woodhead family who manage the task of entertaining guest's and running their lovely family home extremely well! Bravo Daisy!"

"Very comfortable, welcoming and relaxing. The owner made us feel like house guests rather than paying guests. An excellent room with a long, deep & relaxing bath. Hearty breakfasts with tasty home produced sausages. Recommended in every way."

"Daisy was very friendly and helpful with ideas about local places. Nice, relaxed atmosphere. Deep in the Welsh/English countryside -ideal for quiet short stay but near to churches/castles etc. "

"Buried in the silent Welsh countryside (but within reach of the English border), Tybroughton Hall feels a bit like an old country vicarage which has been taken into care by the army. Very comfortable and welcoming, it (almost) made us wish we still lived in the country. Daisy Woodhead cooked us an excellent plum crunble, which - possibly to her disappointment - we finished to the last scrape. Unreservedly recommended."

"Very comfortable and well appointed with charming and delightful hosts. Of all your many places this is is up with the very best, could not recommend more highly"

"This was our first time staying in someones house. We normally visit hotels. So it was with some trepedation that we went to stay at Tybroughton Hall. We should not have been concerned we had a wonderful short break.Daisy was a wonderful host and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble and sitting quitly in front of a roaring log fire in the evening was just what was needed after a days walk (recomended by our host). We look foward to returning and exploring some more of the countryside Food and service first class and better than any 5 star hotel "

"An excellent place to stay for myself and my son (12) for a lads weekend away at Car Fest North. Daisy made us feel at home straight away and we had an extremely comfortable weekend with Tybroughton Hall as our base. We hope to make it to Car Fest North 2013 and look forward to staying here again. Highly recommended."

"What a retreat. Daisy is charming, efficient and is very chilled out. The rooms are delightful, bright, spacious, very clean, comfortable and very homely. Bathrooms/shower rooms beautiful and stylish. We were all made to feel terribly welcome. Breakfasts are amazing and tailored to both adults and children. A beautiful house, tastefully and comfortably decorated, my only criticism is that our stay was too short! A fantastic part of the UK, great base for travelling into North Wales and exploring Cheshire and Shropshire. "

"You know those B&Bs where the loudest sound at breakfast is the ticking of the dark mahogany clock and the little old lady opposite takes half an hour to pluck up the courage to ask you to pass the sugar? Well, Tybroughton is the exact opposite - homely, welcoming and chatty - more like staying with friends. Effortlessly stylish décor, bacon so crisp it shatters on the plate without a hint of oozing water, honey deeply flavoured without being tooth-twanglingly sweet. The setting is supremely restful, in swallow-swooping meadows looking westward to the Clywdian hills. Go. Go now."

"My husband and I stayed at Tybroughton Hall this past weekend - what a gem. It was a real pleasure to stay at such a warm, welcoming and beautiful house. The service was wonderful throughout, a delicious cooked breakfast too. Hosts Daisy and Tim were so kind and accommodating, printing maps for the wedding venue we attended on the Saturday and leaving snacks in the room for our arrival after our journey from London. Our room was lovely, large, beautiful interiors, big bed, a fab shower and huge cozy white towels. I wish we could have stayed longer. A real hit and highly recommended. Its a stunning spot too. Thank you!"

"I stayed at Tybroughton Hall recently whilst in the area for a wedding. Daisy and Tim were very welcoming and helpful hosts, with a fantastic (and much needed) full English breakfast in the morning. I would highly recommend a stay here - lovely people in a lovely part of the world. Tim"

"After a hard day’s cycling we received a warm welcome from Daisy and Tim, along with a much-appreciated pot of tea and homemade muffins. We immediately felt at home in the relaxed atmosphere. The rooms have been tastefully decorated and the shower is one you’ll find hard to leave! Both the 4-course evening meal and breakfast were delicious. All-in-all, one of the best B&Bs we’ve stayed in."
