Cherry Tree Farm

We had a fabulous stay at Jayne and Andrew's beautifully renovated B&B. They are warm, friendly hosts who made us feel very welcome. Their thoughtfullness was wonderful: they devised an easter egg hunt in their garden as a lovely surprise for our two (very) delighted children. And when one child was poorly, they went the extra mile in helping us with medication. We really felt well looked after. Wonderful breakfasts, with custom-made sausages, and jam made from raspberries grown in their sunny garden. We had a lovely long weekend staying at Cherry Tree Farm with our young daughters. Jayne and Andrew were very welcoming, provided good recommendations and a delicious breakfast. We would definitely recommend.

Beautiful old house with lots of history. In village with good pub, (for evening meal), and small but well-stocked supermarket. Jayne, the hostess, cooks a brilliant breakfast to order and has returned things we left through the post! Next time in Frome area we will revisit. Thank you Jayne.

Jayne and Andrew's place at Cherry Tree Farm is the perfect UK countryside destination. Their place has a great blend of classic charm and modern amenities. The grounds are beautiful with an abundance of flowers and song birds. Jayne was super friendly and easy to work with and gave us lots of good advice on where to go and things to do. The breakfasts were made to order and delicious. The town of Nunney is a hidden gem with a neat old castle, gorgeous church, walking path, local tavern and country store. My family had a wonderful time during our visit. Highly Recommend.

Jayne and Andrew are great hosts, very friendly, welcoming and helpful. They have beautifully restored their home which is very comfortable and full of historic features, including amazing beams, fire place, priest hole, well and a lovely view from the garden to the ruined castle. Breakfast was delicious with Jayne's homemade granola, jam and marmalade, tasty seasonal fruits and cooked breakfast. Would highly recommend staying here and we will certainly be back.

Cherry Tree Farm is a beautiful cottage in a charming village which has its own castle and it's own pub. Jayne's a great host & her breakfasts are tremendous: delicious fresh fruit, home-made jam & home-made granola as well as cooked items. As a family of 4 we stayed in 'Rumpelstiltskin', the most recently renovated part of the building. Our 7 & 9 year old enjoyed sleeping on the lower level in a comfy sofa bed with a wall-mounted telly. We loved sleeping upstairs beneath the ancient beams. Convenient for Frome, Longleat, Bath & Bruton.

I can't recommend Cherry Tree Farm enough and I need an excuse to come back! Stunningly restored farm house, beautiful rooms and the most delightful hosts who couldn't do enough for us. Delicious breakfast and Nunney is the prettiest village, with a little shop, pub and an amazing ruined castle. So close to Frome too. The garden is stunning and it was so lovely to enjoy drinks and fish and chips. We were really made to feel at home. Thank you Jayne and Andrew!

It’s always an adventure staying somewhere new. How will it be, is it easy to find, are the hosts happy people? However it is rare to find somewhere so engaging that it immediately feels like home - indeed better than home for a range of unique aspects. The bed is blissful, the beams are state treasures, the modern travertine walk-in shower is a delightful drench after a day in the saddle, cycling with the lions in nearby Longleat. It oozes their pride & energy and has the warm embrace of a ‘happy place’. Bring a cherry pip & your hosts might plant a bit of you, there, too. Utterly delightful.

My partner and I enjoyed our stay at Cherry Tree Farm, despite the weather doing its best to spoil things! We stayed in Amber’s Room which was comfortable and had everything we needed, and we particularly liked our bathroom. Jayne was an attentive host and shared with us the history of the house, which has been painstakingly restored, and her knowledge of the surrounding area.

This is a great spot in a sociable village very close to buzzy Frome - there's a large garden to roam and a cosy sitting room to snuggle up in. Friendly Jayne and her husband will tell you all the fascinating history on the house and you can get more of a culture fix in the castle down the road (which you can also see from the garden!).
