The
Experience

Take a glass of wine to your private courtyard and absorb the peace; or picnic in the gardens. In the hamlet of Dulcote, a mile from Wells, is your own two-storey, two-bedroom coach house flooded with light, full of character and the latest mod cons. Downstairs, a black and white zebra theme; upstairs, white walls, crisp linen, high beams, a glimpse of Wells Cathedral and views that reach to the Mendips. Friendly Chumba the dog greets you and your (well-behaved) waggy friend. Karen leaves eggs from her hens and other goodies in your fridge so you can breakfast in your jim-jams. A delightful B&B for nature lovers and dog-walkers.

Reviews

A wonderful annexe coach house with views to Wells Cathedral set in a garden with fabulous plants. It was spotless and everything had been thought of from shower hats to dishwasher tablets and welly boots were lent to me so I could enjoy the lovely walks across the fields to Wells.

Wonderful place to stay while visiting nearby Wells. Exceptionally clean, homely and comfortable. Peaceful surroundings. Owners extremely obliging and professional. Cant recommend highly enough.

Norman

An exceptional venue with exceptional standards I don’t want to over use the word exceptional and take away the meaning but The Coach House B&B really is exceptional. We booked last minute and from initial enquiry to departure, everything was spot on. Check in was easy and Karen is lovely; helpful & friendly and very professional but in a relaxed way. The Coach House had everything we could want; is very spacious, spotlessly clean and has a homely feel. It is honestly the first time we did not need to take anything with us such as an iron or sharp veg knife etc

Amanda

Our two night stay was very relaxing and peaceful. Breakfast provisions were first class and the celebratory bottle of fizz on our wedding night was very thoughtful. The freedom this type of accommodation provided was exactly what we sought and would highly recommend The Coach House and will return whenever possible. Thank you for a very hospitable stay Karen.
