Westleigh Farm

Bridgwater, Somerset
Bed & Breakfast

A fine West Country base for walks, cycles, rides in all directions. Peace, birdsong, grazing goats and rows of lavender in the fields

2 rooms

Rooms sleep 2

The farmhouse is in its own peaceful valley. Step inside to find an eclectic collection of vintage finds; a snooker room; a guest sitting room with sofas by the wood-burner and board games; bedrooms with big comfy beds, colourful linen and flowers. You eat in the cosy red dining hall at a long candlelit table: perfect poached eggs from the hens, homemade granola, fresh fruit for breakfast, perhaps homemade pate and local lamb for dinner. Kerstin grows lavender in the fields and you can buy her deliciously scented soaps and creams too. Space for bikes, walks into the Quantocks from the door, and the coast is just 30 minutes away.

One of the best places we have ever stayed in. The farm is easily found using Kerstin's directions and is a beautifully kept, first class B&B. Kerstin was very welcoming and was happy for me to "nosey" at all her lovely pieces of furniture, photo's and things collected over the years. Breakfast was fresh each day with lots to choose from using local produce. Instead of yacking on for ages about Westleigh Farm I'd just say go there and experience the delight for yourself!
