Rooms sleep 2

Wild flowers in jugs, old wooden floors and beams, pretty cottagey curtains: Judy’s manor house near Chichester has bags of character and she is friendly and kind. Originally constructed round a big central fireplace, the rooms are all refreshingly simple allowing features to shine. Sunny bedrooms up steep stairs have seagrass flooring, limed furniture, gentle colours and warm bathrooms. Enjoy delicious breakfasts by the wood-burner in the dining room: fresh fruit smoothies and an organic full English. Great for horse racing, castle visiting, sailing, theatre and festivals; fantastic walks on the South Downs, too. Lovely.

Delightful large cottage, its called the Manor House, plenty of parking, great welcome from Judy, who could not do enough for us. Beautifully furnished bedroom with modern shower room. No traffic noise, but within walking distance of excellent pub and newsagent! We sat in the pretty garden with afternoon tea, having to tear ourselves away to go to the theatre. Full English breakfast is a treat, made even more so by Judy's very own fruit smoothies. What a delicious start to a beautiful day in the English countryside. Weekends should be more than two nights in this comfortable bedroom.

Staying at Judy's Manor House was pure joy, we truly enjoyed the informative and witty banter with our hostess over the delicious breakfast, that covers anybody's preferences. The room was so comfortable it made you instantly feel at home. A wonderful warm and welcoming place. We could've stayed on and on...

A wonderfully warm welcome from, Judy Wolstenhome despite the fact that we had arrived a week early! Old Manor House has great unspoilt charm as has Judy. Highly recommended!
