The Stock Exchange is a true gem in the middle of the lovely town of Midhurst. Compact and beautiful town with cafes and shops right on your doorstep as well as the history and walks to the countryside. The Stock Exchange is filled with so many beautiful details and combined with the comfort it feels like staying in a very good boutique hotel but also having a very well equipped kitchen to use! It is hard to leave from this place. Thank you MaryAnn!

Recently spent 3 nights in the delightful town of Midhurst, lovely eateries around and very dog friendly everywhere which was a big plus for us. We chose to stay in this unusual building right in the middle of town that had a large comfy bed, lashings of hot water for a shower or bath. Although there were a lot of buildings around us it was very quiet at night and everything you could wish for was on our doorstep.

A short notice NYE getaway and the perfect location. Beautiful and thoughtful interior, dogs most certainly welcome and catered for, everything we wanted and needed.

The Stock Exchange is a magic bolthole in Midhurst. It had all of the luxuries you might want but also feels like a home away from home. Location couldn’t be more central for exploring Midhurst and MaryAnne is happy to help with local knowledge. We will be returning!

We just spent a heavenly couple of days at The Stock Exchange in magical Midhurst, Sussex. A peaceful haven has been lovingly created here, by the very talented MaryAnn who is the owner and designer of this little bolt hole. The attention to detail, the feeling of luxury and the little personal touches are the things that really make the difference in this property. You will feel indulged and very spoilt if you book The Stock Exchange. And with such a clever mix of traditional, modern and quirky style, this is really such wonderful home from home to escape to, to reset and recuperate.

We had the most relaxing and wonderful stay for a mini birthday break at The Stock Exchange. MaryAnn has created a comfortable, stylish and ever so quirky bolt hole. The accommodation meets all expectations and more with personal touches and attention to detail. We have just had a lovely stay at this beautiful quirky house. Such attention to detail from leaving birthday wishes for my husband to fresh cut flowers and cake on our arrival. Beautiful bed linen and really comfortable beds. Lovely market town with plenty to do, petworth is worth a visit. MaryAnn is a wonderful host nothing is too much trouble.

A luxurious little bolt hole in the centre of Midhurst that caters for your every need, the interior has been well thought out and the beds are extremely comfortable. Midhurst is a charming town, plenty of fantastic walks, wonderful cafes and restaurants and lots of independent shops with very friendly people. It felt very much like we were on holiday in France as we sat drinking coffee in the square. MaryAnn is a great hostess, excellent communication and we will definitely return.

The four of us (two couples) had a wonderful stay at the Stock Exchange last weekend. The cottage is delightful and very well equipped, with the most beautiful and cosy sitting room, which is gorgeously furnished. The upstairs area is much larger than we had expected and we were pleasantly surprised to find a separate dining room. Midhurst is a very pretty village and it was a treat to sty right in the middle of such beautiful countryside, and close to Cowdray, Petworth and the coast. MaryAnn is extremely kind and thoughtful - nothing is too much! We shall be back to stay very soon!

I spent 3 nights at the Stock Exchange. I wanted somewhere that felt homely and safe (I was staying alone) but that also felt like a luxury. The Stock Exchange ticked all the boxes. From the second I walked in, I knew it was going to be perfect and it was. Everything is the perfect mix of comfort and style. I genuinely did feel so relaxed and at home there. I read 3 books, took long hot baths and slept like a log every single night. The beds were incredibly luxurious and it was lovely to lay in each morning and drink a coffee from the Nespresso machine while watching the sunrise.

Just returned yesterday from a wonderful stay at the Stock Exchange. The house was incredibly comfortable, impeccably clean, beautiful bedrooms (slept wonderfully) and the very lovely warming host Mary Ann has anticipated every need in the house. She even left out a bag of food and dog bowls & blanket for my little cockapoo. Highly recommend this place and will definitely return! Very convenient location also.

We loved every minute of our short stay at The Stock Exchange. MaryAnn has lovingly and generously equipped it with everything you need to make a really comfortable and relaxing visit to the pretty market town Midhurst. Despite it being located on the main road it was quiet and peaceful inside and we slept well in the super sized, luxurious bed. We thoroughly recommend.

From the moment we arrived we knew we had stumbled upon something special. From the immaculate interior to the thoughtful extras . Sumptuous bed linen . A bath of dreams, beautiful high end furnishings, Chocolates, fresh fruit, cakes ,milk and even sherry . We planned to do so much but found ourselves wanting to stay put and enjoy all that the Stock exchange had to offer. Midhurst has some wonderful restaurants , cafes and tea rooms and has to be the friendliest town we have ever visited . Mary-Ann was so helpful in recommending places of interest and couldn’t be more helpful.

This really is a wonderful space…….As soon as we walked through the door, the Stock Exchange gave us a great big hug ! Everything is just perfect, and it’s true, Midhurst is full of lovely friendly people. Thank you Mary Ann for your wonderful hospitality. Bestest of wishes Sue and Alistair x

The Stock Exchange is a gorgeous, relaxing accommodation. Every aspect of a luxurious stay is taken into account. Some very thoughtful extra touches, a bottle of sherry and doggy treats were a lovely surprise! The beds/bedding were the most comfortable we have ever slept in outside our home, an essential part of our holiday. The cooker/stove was excellent too particularly for cooking a Christmas feed. Very well thought out use of space and a well-equipped kitchen. We had a wonderful stay!

A haven of peace so beautifully presented. Every need is thought of from the latest magazines, fresh fruit, candles ready in the bathroom to provide atmosphere. A soothing colour scheme throughout with vibrant touches of red and green in the dining room. Outside plenty to do locally and a good choice of places to eat and for culture and exercise. Every question quickly answered. We would love to return one day.

From the moment you arrive at the Stock Exchange you feel so welcome and cared for . Mary Ann has thought of everything and has provided all you need for a luxury stay. Come rain or shine you can’t fail to have a really relaxing break in the heart West Sussex .

Just perfect in every way! MaryAnn has thought of everything and has made The Stock Exchange so lovely. It uses all the space very cleverly and still retains all its charcuterie and charm. It is beautifully decorated and very comfortable indeed. Midhurst and the surrounding area offers such a lot too in terms of walks, eateries and quaint shops. This is perhaps one of the most beautiful, sumptuous, enchanting, and luxurious places we have ever stayed! The attention to detail is second to none, almost as if MaryAnn is taking care of you from afar! Fantastic speedy communication - in fact, the only problem was that we wanted to spend all our time at the Stock Exchange, and yet Midhurst is so wonderful to explore too!
