Luckington, Wiltshire
Bed & Breakfast

A listed farmhouse wrapped in Cotswolds countryside, 3 spacious, floral rooms, a beautiful garden with pool and leisurely local breakfasts

3 rooms

Rooms sleep 2

You’re in the heart of the village with its small shop, friendly pub and the Melvilles’ lovely 18th-century farmhouse. It’s a comfortable, relaxed home; dogs wander, horses whinny, and there’s a beautiful garden to wander with a Kiftsgate rose and a swimming pool for sunny days. On the second floor, off a corridor filled with paintings, are three florally inspired bedrooms: comfortable, bright and spacious with views to the village green. Breakfast leisurely on all things local at the long table in a dining room filled with silver and china. There’s a pleasant guests’ sitting room to relax in too.

A gem! A wonderful house in a great location. Fiona made us feel extremely welcome in her home, our room was spacious and comfortable, and breakfast was excellent (the sausages were superb). A very friendly pub with great food is just a few minutes’ walk away, and there are lots of interesting places to visit nearby. Thoroughly recommended!

We have stayed here several times and it is superb, especially as it is dog-friendly (we have dogs). Marvelous ambience and hospitality. Like the local environment, everything here is superb.
