Village Farm

Bed & Breakfast

Delicious breakfasts, candlelit dinners – Chrysta loves to spoil. After cliff-top walks, relish deep baths, crisp linen and a quiet village

3 rooms

Rooms sleep 2 - 4

Tucked behind houses and shops, this was once the village farm with land stretching to the coast. Now the one-storey buildings overlooking a courtyard are large bedrooms in gorgeous colours with luxurious touches. Chrysta, who moved from London, is living her dream and Iooks after you well: baths are deep, beds crisply comfortable, heating is underfoot. Delicious breakfasts are served at wooden tables in a cheerful light room with a contemporary feel; dinner is candlelit and locally sourced. Stride the cliffs, watch birds at Flamborough Head or make for Spurn Point – remote and lovely.

The neighbourhood

Local points of interest from Chrysta Newman

  • The RSPB Reserve at Bempton Cliffs is a short drive away - see the breeding Puffin colonies, Gannets and the many other seabirds who use the cliffs to breed and raise their young - unmissable!
  • The historic houses of Burton Agnes, Burton Constable ,Sewerby Hall and Castle Howard are all within easy reach - marvel at the architecture and wander through the gorgeous gardens.
  • Having recently returned to Bridlington, David Hockney has been inspired by the Yorkshire Wolds. Come and experience it for yourself - either on foot or by car or bike (we have a couple you can borrow).
  • Take a stroll around the Old Town in Bridlington, full of vintage and bric-a-brac shops. There are also 2 excellent galleries exhibiting and selling local artwork. A visit to The Priory - over 900 years old - makes for a magical day.
