This is a well-loved farm, its environmental credentials supreme, and David and Denise are warm and interesting. A beautiful setting, too: landscaped gardens, a 700-acre farm (cows, lambs, barley) and rolling countryside stretching to Cromarty Firth. A grandfather clock ticks away time to relax, by floor-to-ceiling windows and a wood-burner in the antiques-filled sitting room; over a breakfast of local and home-grown produce; with a drink on the pond-side terrace; in bedrooms with fresh bathrooms and stunning views. David can advise on great walks, and has made maps of the farm’s footpaths. Revel in the glorious unspoilt nature.
