An Airigh

We had a stay an An Airigh is September 2023 and cannot recommend it enough to potential guests. The accommodation was great - modern, clean, well equipped. Very cosy for bad weather, airy for good and with the most incredible views over Loch Dunvegan. The location was brilliant - lots of outdoor space in the beautiful croft to explore, and walks in the quiet headland nearby. It was equally great as a place for exploring the north-west of the island with great restaurants and attractions nearby. Ian and Robbie were friendly and very professional hosts. A real 5 star experience.

Great place Ian and Robbie have. Every thing you need supplied in their property. All clean and in tip top condition. If you are looking for peace and countryside its here. Certainly looking to return next year.

We stayed a week to celebrate our anniversary. We were very pleased with the cleanliness and the high quality of the furnishings. great shower..comfortable bed...The star of the show was the location we managed to unwind...no traffic..no sirens..just clean fresh air...mindfulness without thinking...we shall return....highly recommend this quality haven.

We were lucky enough to stay for a week at this amazing spot on a quiet part of the Isle of Skye. Pre-arrival information was excellent. Our hosts gave us a very warm welcome. An Airigh sits on the hillside of the croft with amazing views over the loch. The accommodation was excellent with everything we could possibly need and spotless. Very comfortable bed. We were happy to stay fairly local and enjoyed some nearby walks and observed the wildlife which included eagles, dolphins, Minke whale, gannets and seals. Amazing. We would thoroughly recommend An Airigh.

An Airigh was the most inspiring escape for us! Awesome views over Loch Dunvegan and the white coral beach in Claigan, and access to nearby Dunvegan with its historic connections and atmospheric castle. This striking, but simple, corrugated steel contemporary "cottage" is immaculately equipped and set in the grounds of a croft owned by our lovely hosts. No detail missed - including complimentary wine and biscuits! We had the best stay here and have already put in a reservation request for next year!

An Airigh is set beautifully overlooking Loch Dunvegan. The views are spectacular, even when the weather isn’t so good. There is everything you could wish for in terms of creature comforts and information. Robbie and Ian were charming, welcoming but unobtrusive. We enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing week and would thoroughly recommend.

We had a lovely week at An Airigh. Even on a dull day the views across Loch Dunvegan are stunning. Wildlife was never far away with Buzzards circling in the skies, deer visiting in the evenings or gannets on their travels across the Loch. Ian and Robbie were very helpful hosts and put much thought into the furnishings and equipment of An Airigh. Finding all Ordnance Survey walking maps for the area and walk books was a real treat. Even though An Airigh is almost at the end of the road there is plenty to explore nearby and the Three Chimneys restaurant is only a 12 minute drive away.

Our stay was fantastic, helped out by the gorgeous weather but even so I think it would have been great anyway as An Airigh was perfect for us. The views are spectacular and we particularly enjoyed watching the three Sea Eagles ‘jousting’ or courting, we couldn’t make our minds up which, directly outside - it was amazing! We didn’t want for anything at your lovely holiday home

An Airigh is situated in a beautiful location overlooking Loch Dunvegan. The accommodation is superb and has all the comforts and necessary things that you need, from spectacular views over Loch Dunvegan over to Coral Bay, a comfy bed, lovely bathroom equipped with local toiletries to everything you need in the kitchen, not forgetting a log burner. The owners are on hand nearby however the Guest information contains all the information you need, detailing local walks, restaurants, and local shops. They have put a lot of thought and detail in to this property …and the wildlife is spectacular!

We were completely stunned by the beauty of Skye and staying at An Airigh allowed us to immerse ourselves completely in this wild part of the world. The location is perfect with walks from the house and some of the 'must see' destinations of Skye just a short drive away. The house itself is super comfortable, well-designed and well-equipped with floor to ceiling windows framing the most sublime views. Robbie and Ian are helpful hosts with good advice about things to do in the area and of course, just a few miles down the road is the very special Three Chimneys Restaurant.

We had a wonderful two week stay in An-airigh. The accommodation was faultless - comfortable, well equipped and well maintained. It's set in a beautiful landscape with amazing views and lovely walks from the doorstep. And so peaceful! Robbie and Ian are excellent hosts - offering great suggestions for things to do, trips to take and places to eat. This was our first trip to North West Skye and we are so glad that we were able to explore it from this great place. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing stay at An Airigh, the house is just perfect for the two of us and all the little details were absolutely spot on. It was the perfect base for us to explore Skye - we didn't want to be in a town over surrounded by other properties. An Airigh just ticked all of the boxes. Ian and Robbie were lovely and so nice and helpful, suggesting places to visit and things to do. The information pack in the house was also fantastic and lots of maps and books on the area too. We hope to be back in the not too distant future.

At this most stressful of times, An Airigh and Skye threw us a lifeline. The accommodation is so comfortable and well maintained and everything has been thought of. The views from the window are breathtaking. We spent most mornings quite happily relaxing in the house and looking at the ever changing skies, before heading out to explore the surrounding areas. We would most definitely return.

We had a fabulous week at An Airigh, a special private hideaway set in beautiful surroundings. Overlooking Dunvegan Loch with stunning views, it's so relaxing just to take it all in and watch the wildlife. The house is lovely, spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable, very well equipped with some nice touches such as locally sourced bathroom toiletries and welcome treats. Thank you Ian and Robbie for being great hosts, we had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.

What a beautiful place to stay! For something a little different and out in the wild, An Airigh fits the bill superbly. Everything you need is there, all high quality, ensuring a comfortable stay with a luxury feel. As for the scenery, we enjoyed watching dolphins swim down the loch in the evening and saw sunrises that were breath-taking! Ian and Robbie, despite the difficulties caused by the lockdown, had made sure that everything was completely safe and well-organised and were on hand for us if we needed them; lovely hosts who we sincerely hope to see again - we will want to go back!

We Stayed at An Airigh on the Isle of Skye from 16th-23rd November 2019. We highly recommend anyone to stay here. It is a hidden gem. Without doubt the most tranquil and relaxing beautiful accommodation. An Airigh has all the luxuries you need, is immaculately clean, with breath taking views. Attention to detail is second to none. Ian & Robbie are exceptional helpful, friendly and are at hand if you need anything. We would love to visit the Isle Of Skye again and have no hesitation on staying here again.

An Airigh was a dream come true. Ian and Robbie are perfect hosts and made sure every detail was attended to and were always there to lend a helping hand. The house itself is just as depicted and to say it's spotlessly clean would be an understatement. Heavenly to look out onto the sea, the ever-changing skies and the wandering sheep down by the cliff. A perfect house in a perfect spot !

We spent our honeymoon at An Airigh and loved every second in the property. Ian and Robbie, thank you so much for a peaceful and restorative stay. We loved all the local products from Skyeskyns and Skye weavers. We visited both and bought several items for our home. The house was exceptionally clean, kitchen well equipped and everything excellent quality. The view from the property was absolutely stunning. Ian and Robbie were lovely and welcoming and we even got a little tour of their magnificent Croft, with their fruit and veg growing. The welcome gifts were so thoughtful. We will be back.

This beautiful contemporary home for two has magnificent views of Loch Dunvegan from all three rooms and feels incredibly cosy and warm. We received a very detailed email prior to our arrival but Iain and Robbie were on hand (although never intrusive) to provide further helpful information about the area. The house has everything you would need with perfect attention to detail. Highly recommended.
