The
Experience

Steeped in local history, 1600s Argoed is Daniel’s family home. Pictures of changes over the years cover the walls, and he has stories galore about this fascinating house. He and Jemma are relaxed and generous – tea and cake will be waiting for you; continental breakfasts are organic and hearty. The big bedroom has calm natural colours; goose down pillows and Welsh blankets keep you snug; your sitting room has vintage wallpapers, wood-burner, comfy red sofas and views across wildflower meadows. Take a boat trip around Ramsey Island, visit St Davids Cathedral and great beaches; Newport is crammed with independent shops and good pubs.

Reviews

We stayed for 1 week with Daniel & Jemma and had a delightful time, it was relaxing and in a delightful setting. We had lovely breakfasts which consisted of fresh fruit and bread, pastries and yogurt. Our stay was delightful and Parsnip the cat followed us everywhere she was a lovely friendly cat. We would return here in the blink of an eye. The surrounding countryside was stunningly beautiful and the coast is so picturesque. In all a really big thank you to Daniel & Jemma.

Wyn, Great dunmow

A most beautiful, peaceful place with a gentle family atmosphere, wild flower meadow and the best home made bread I have ever tasted.

This delightful B&B exudes good taste with every last detail having been thought of. We couldn't have been more comfortable. The views are wonderful, the breakfast delicious, and the welcome had a genuine warmth rarely experienced in your average B&B. It was heart warming to be greeted on our arrival by Daniel and Elsie (the perfect and most helpful little hostess). This place feels like a true haven and we couldn't recommend it highly enough to anyone who is looking for a retreat where one can switch off and totally relax. Thank you Daniel, Jemma and family.

I stayed at Argoed B&B in Pembrokeshire for 3 nights in September. It is a lovely B&B in a picturesque part of Pembrokeshire. Upon arrival we were greeted by Daniel and Jemma and were treated to an afternoon tea of scones with jam and clotted cream, just what we needed after a 5 hour drive! Daniel and Jemma were very welcoming and friendly and even baked me some blueberry muffins when they found out it was my birthday! Argoed is a lovely B&B with lovely hosts and I would definitely recommend it.
