The
Experience

Sleep like kings in the heart of lovely Bordeaux. Climb the monumental staircase to your suite in a private mansion. It’s a festival of pictures, colours and textures. There‘s so much to look at that it’s hard to close your eyes. Vibrant Emmanuelle lives on the same floor, loves her city and will tell you all about its treasures and stories when she brings copious breakfast to your baroque-modern sitting room. Enjoy the high ceilings, original panelling and antiques, the superb bedding and fabrics. The bigger bedroom is exquisite but the elegant tall windows are single-glazed… A rare treat of a B&B.

Location

The neighbourhood

Local points of interest from Emmanuelle Robine

  • You are in the best area of the city. The suite is close to the good shops, the museums of fine arts and paintings, the lovely 18th public garden and the café, the river Garonne, the Grand theatre and the fancy restaurants and bars.
  • Very close to everything, between Saint Pierre the old Bordeaux and les chartrons area of the wine merchants Saint. It is very 18th and 19th century in the area. Very safe, near the shops very chic around the market of Grands homme
  • You can walk to the river take the bateaubus and go to the other side of the Garonne and have a drink look a t the sunset, diner and come back walking along the river.
  • The elevator is just for the luggage when you arrive and leave but the stairs are easy.
  • Organic breakfasts are served at a time that suits you! You have just to ask.
  • The suite has two small fridges with some plates so it's perfect for drinks and nibbles! And of course tea and coffee all day.
