The Experience

Enjoy ultimate pampering in this renovated royal chalet. Built for party people, it’s all state-of-the art, with your own eco-gym, sauna, hammam and billiard room. On rainy days get cosy in the private thirty-seater cinema or sink into the sofas in the library with a book.

Find L’Oréal skincare goodies in your minimalist bedroom – young owners Edouard and Marion provide endless thoughtful touches and they live a few minutes away should you need anything. On sunny days sip rosé on the shaded veranda or stroll down to the tree-shaded park bordering the Allier river.

Cook in the small but well-equipped kitchen or dine next door at the famous Hotel Célestins. Indulge in opera, antique hunting and tea shops, or play golf and tennis when you’re feeling active, all a short walk away.

Reviews

Vichy is a must-see gem of a city, easy to get to (flights from Stansted to Clermont-Ferrand, just half an hour's easy drive) with its opera house, fascinating architecture, gorgeous park and wonderful landscaped riverside walks. And Chalet Impérial with all its history is perfectly situated to make the most of it. The owners have a perfectionist approach to the renovation, blending old with the new.

Introducing

Marion Pastré & Édouard Delgrange

Young owners Edouard and Marion are from Paris and Aix-en-Provence. They discovered Chalet Impérial on a hiking holiday in the Auvergne and instantly fell in love with it. Edouard speaks English fluently and his passion for Vichy is infectious – they live nearby so ask for recommendations. The chalet is their first venture into hospitality and after two years of full renovation they are now excited to receive their first guests.
