The
Experience

Walk from the house through wildflower meadows, woodland and streams for miles on end or hit the coastal footpath and be on a sandy beach in 15 minutes. There are nine beaches on the north Finistère coast with something to suit everyone from rockpools to big waves – hire all the gear from the Locquirec surf school. The house and barn are easy-going spaces. Bring a haul of fresh seafood home, fire up the barbecue and gather your clan on the terrace while the kids free-range in the big safe garden – the pirate ship, Wendy house and trampoline should keep them entertained. On cooler evenings cosy up inside with books and board games in front of the fire. There are local markets for each day of the week, a great botanical garden at Roscoff and Ile de Batz is lovely. Take the ferry from Paimpol (an hour’s drive) to car-free Île-de-Bréhat to gulp down fresh sea air and ogle the pretty gardens; Asterix fans will be keen to visit Pleumeur-Bodou (25 kilometers) a reconstructed Gallic village. Groups of walkers, cyclists or artists will be equally happy here.

Reviews

We stayed here as a group of 6 adults and 4 children for the week. The house is spectacular, clean, spacious and everything has been thought of. The children played endlessly in the incredible gardens and Pam had provided toys and games to keep them occupied on the odd rainy moment. I cant recommend this place enough, it truly is magical.

Caroline, Derbyshire

We have had a lovely two weeks at Les Pins. The house is comfortable and spacious. The garden is absolutely fantastic and our 2.5 year old adored it. It also made such a difference that Pam could kindly lend us two cots and two high chairs (a lot of places only have one of each). The surrounding area is beautiful with huge sandy beaches perfect for small children.

Selina, London

Very comfortable and peaceful. Huge garden with pirate ship and wendy house. Half a dozen beaches within a ten minute drive; good surfing beach just three minutes away. Excellent artisan boulangerie in the next village about a mile away. Kitchen is small but it's got everything you'd need. Wifi not very strong - only worked downstairs. I'd certainly go back again and our seven year old never wanted to leave!

Introducing

Pam Macey

Owner Pam has travelled the world and fell in love with Les Pins on a walking and cycling holiday with a friend. A keen sailor and walker she tries to spend as much time as she can here. There's a safe key box so you can let yourselves in but Nicole, a local French woman, is near to hand if you need anything.
