Bed & Breakfast

Family-friendly B&B at the end of the track: elegant table d'hôtes at the rustic table, and a stunning sweeping garden with swings and pool

4 rooms

Rooms sleep 2 – 4

In rolling countryside at the end of the track is an immaculately restored 350-year-old farmhouse. The setting? Three acres of beautifully tended gardens that fall to a babbling brook. In the stone barn are three pretty bedrooms – two cosily under dark beams, the third, for families, with a secluded courtyard aglow with roses and birdsong. Owners Sue and Jerry, full of beans, love hosting four-course table d’hotes at their big rustic table. Swings, trampoline and smooth rocks for playing on, an above-ground pool for splashing in, and sofas, books and small log-burner for cosy nights in. Perfect.

Just returned from a wonderful one night stay. Sue and Jerry made us all feel at home and I can't really find anything I would want to improve. Food, wine, hospitality, room and everything else was just lovely.

Richard, Henley on thames

This really is in the depth of the countryside. Wonderfully peaceful. We were given a room in the main house. On arrival we were offered a cup of real English tea which was a bonus. Meals were taken around the kitchen table with the chickens watching us through the door. A more than adequate breakfast which stretched beyond a "Full French" offering. What I shall remember most about our stay was the friendliness of Sue and Jerry and the little touches that went beyond expectations. Fresh flowers in our room, bathrobes and slippers and proper milk for early morning tea.

Kenneth, Shepperton

We had a wonderful stay at Les Touches and would wholeheartedly recommend to stay here, it's so calm and relaxing. Sue & Jerry are fantastic hosts who finds nothing too much trouble.

Tina, Meopham

Deep in the countryside, plenty of peace and quiet. Our room was in the roof, so mind your head, but nicely presented and comfortable. Lovely sitting room with tea/coffe facilities for guests. Dinners served around a big table in the kitchen were delicious. Breakfasts included eggs fresh from the garden hens. Easy reach of Mont St Michel and Fougères with its medieval castle for days out. Also an American Military Cemetary in nearby St. James.

Carol, Northwich

An extremely warm welcome from Sue and Jerry. Beautifully appointed bedroom (The Loft) and a wonderful country setting. Delicious cuisine and fine conversation. Thoughtful and very friendly hosts - the log-fire already lit for our arrival (April). We would wholeheartedly recommend this treasure in the tranquil Breton countryside, well-situated for mid-Channel ports.
