Bed & Breakfast

Tranquil B&B with sophistication and charm near Troyes for all things cultural - and shopping!

6 rooms

Rooms sleep 2 – 4

You’re well away from the main road but a short walk from the village in this stone farmhouse dated 1742. B&B rooms are in various outbuildings set around a pretty courtyard with trees, shrubs and flowers: each is different but all have exposed oak beams, half-timbered walls, comfortable seats with views and fresh white embroidered cotton sheets on good thick mattresses. All have a seating area too. Breakfast is in the airy dining room, or the rambling garden – smiley Madame makes her own jams and yogurts and buys the best croissants and bread from the local artisan baker. Golf, walks, cycling and watery fun are all near.

This place is simply gorgeous! Beautiful setting (converted small-holding); charming rooms; delightful hosts and the breakfast(s) (we stayed twice) were to die for, with artisan pastries, home- made jams and yoghurt and, freshly squeezed orange juice. Oh and don't forget to try Philipe's very own sparkling cassis! Easy distance to visit the interesting city of Troyes too. Would definitely re-book this place :-)

Domaine de la Creuse is quite simply - exquisite! Beautiful building - roses round the door and indeed everywhere. Decorated in a Provencale style - where Marie Christine is from. White linens, antique fabric curtains - breakfast includes the best croissants I've ever eaten - and I've eaten quite a few in my life! Charming hosts who recommended a Champagne house for a tasting afternoon. Gorgeous! We loved it all so much we also stayed an extra night! Do try Philip's homemade chilled sparkling cassis - delicious nectar for the soul!

Sandy, Reigate

We had a very pleasant stay at this beautiful place. The room was finished to perfection, with great attention to detail. The owners were very welcoming and staff were very helpful with recommendations for local places to eat. Breakfast was delicious!

Chris, London

Our nights stay at Marie & Philip' s at the Domaine was like being in heaven. Their attention to detail was first class. It was so good that we booked for another nights stay on our return to the UK on July 10th
