Domaine de Jean-Pierre

Pinas, Hautes-Pyrénées
Bed & Breakfast

High in the Pyrénées, a family home built in Napoleon's time - relish peace, harmony and civilised conversation from delightful Madame

2 rooms

Rooms sleep 2 – 3

Madame is gracefully down to earth and her house and garden an oasis of calm where you may share her delight in playing the piano or golf (3km) and possibly make a lifelong friend. Built in Napoleon’s time, her house has an elegant hall, big airy bedrooms and great bathrooms, while fine furniture and laundered linen reflect her pride in her ancestral home – a combination of uncluttered space and character. The huge triple has space to waltz in and the smallest bathroom; the colours chosen are peaceful and harmonious; the garden is a treat; and breakfast comes with an array of honeys and civilised conversation. Great value.

Great two night stay in this fabulous chateau, with a most welcoming hostess. Our room was terrific, as were the views! Highly recommended.

Tim, Nottingham

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this charming house with Madame, who was delightful. Set on a country road, 10 minutes walk from Pinas, the views from the rooms and the terrace are over the garden and towards the distant mountains. The house is wonderfully cool and the garden shady. We took breakfast outside and sat out with an evening picnic until the sun went down. Would definitely return.

Louise, Falmouth

Beautiful home with fantastic views of the Pyrenees set in park like grounds. Charming helpful hostess we can't wait to visit again.
