Welcome to a serene green paradise – a converted water mill and burgeoning B&B. Across deckchair’d lawns linked by meandering paths (clogs and umbrellas provided!) are two separate cottages, sober, simple, fresh and warm; total tranquillity. In the first, the main bedroom is downstairs and the single is up, leading through to a rustic-stylish shower. In the converted bread oven, bucolically on the river bank, is a double with an extra bed for child. Find floors of rosy terracotta, arched windows hung with muslin, pretty beds topped with quilts. In the handsome dining room, gentle Elisabeth serves a breakfast worth lingering over; and you can, until 11am.
