Who would not love this beautifully restored stone bergerie in a riot of greenery and flowers, with terraces dotted about gardens and pool? Jeanne and Guy’s welcome is warm and easy; he keeps guests happy over an aperitif as she delivers a dinner not to be missed. The glorious black fig of Solliès is one of her specialities; both Jeanne and Guy are passionate about Slow Food. Various staircases lead to elegant rooms – symphonies in pink, white and floral – and modern bathrooms. An early dip, a feast of a breakfast, and you’re ready for the day’s adventures. A happy place in harmony with the world – in a peaceful Provençal village.

This is a magical place. Guy and Jeanne are such charming good hosts. They pay great attention to all detail. The place is beautiful with a wonderful outside eating area and a super pool. Breakfasts are a delight, boiled eggs, meats and cheeses amongst gorgeous apricots and freshly squeezed orange juice. Guy is a master of the map and knows where to go but beware of travelling on the D14 back from St Tropez!!. Its tight! Do take the offer of the Table D'Hote. Jeanne will serve a wonderful feast with fine wines for a sensible sum of euros. Our room was big and spacious. A super place for Var

Mark, Stroud

Characterful b&b located in the centre of the village of Rocbaron in the Var where we stayed for 5 nights. Lovely shaded garden where we had excellent al fresco breakfasts and a delicious dinner one evening. Hosts were really helpful suggesting destinations, lending us a detailed map and recommending excellent restaurants. Comfortable bedroom with good air conditioning which we needed. Wifi available outside the room. Would recommend this place.

La Maison de Rocbaron is run by a charming couple with fantastic, but laid back, attention to both detail and their guests. Highest possible praise for everything from the art in the beautiful rooms to the collection of beautifully presented home made confitures at breakfast. Stunning. We will return.

Once again a superb place selected by Sawdays. The property, right in the middle of the town, offers a huge garden together with a large swimming pool. The house itself proves to be very quiet and comfortbale. All this very much thanks to Jeanne and Guy who make every guest feel so welcome in their house, ready to share their experience and their knowledge of the region. The breakfast is in itself worth a visit, with homemade jams and other fresh ingredients, bringing all the guests together for a chat. Delightful area, delightful hosts, delightful property. We'll be back!...

Guy and Jeanne couldnt have been more welcoming and helpful. It was such a special relaxing place to stay with a beautiful garden. We had a suite room with a balconyand it felt very private and comfortable. The meals were excellent and convivial with the other guests . Jeanne and Guy make a good team.
